After changing the solution set page, the items and data on the canvas are updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-not-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-custom-color-2-border-color has-custom-color-3-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-44468703 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/note.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<p>When viewing old solution set the view item configuration and knowledge model at the time of generating the solution is used to display the results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Create-a-new-solution-set\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"create-a-new-solution-set\"><\/span>Create a new solution set<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create a new solution set in your active view by <strong>clicking the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image63.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> icon<\/strong> on the right side of the last tab in the tab navigation bar or by <strong>right clicking<\/strong> one of the <strong>solution set tabs<\/strong> and selecting<em> New solution<\/em> set. With a new solution set the input for the solution can be changed to generate a different solution set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Renaming,-and-deleting-solution-sets\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"renaming-and-deleting-solution-sets\"><\/span>Renaming, and deleting solution sets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, the solution set is automatically named after the active module you generated solutions for. If you want to change the name of a solution set, <strong>right click<\/strong> the <strong>solution set tab<\/strong> in the tab navigation and<strong> choose Rename\u2026<\/strong> from the context popup menu. You can delete an opened solution set by<strong> clicking the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image47.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> icon<\/strong> in the right corner of the solution set tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Duplicating,-updating-and-\u2018splitting-off\u2019-solution-sets\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"duplicating-updating-and-%e2%80%98splitting-off-solution-sets\"><\/span>Duplicating, updating and \u2018splitting off\u2019 solution sets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you <strong>right click the solution set tab<\/strong> in the tab navigation a few unmentioned options are left:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can duplicate the active solution set\/ view by clicking the <strong>Duplicate button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image64.png\" alt=\"\"> . This will create a new empty solution set with the same view and input in the input fields as the one it was duplicated from.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can update the active solution set\/ view to the latest View version by clicking the <strong>Update view button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image65.png\" alt=\"\"> . This will update the active solution set to the latest view version. If solutions were already generated and new parameter have been added to the view, then output values for those parameters will be displayed in the updated view if possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-not-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-custom-color-2-border-color has-custom-color-3-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-44468703 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/note.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<p>When updating the view of a solution set with solutions the knowledge model at the time of generation those solutions is used to update the output values. It is not possible to display values of parameter which were not present in the knowledge model at the time of generating the solutions. In this case a missing parameter message is displayed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can revert an updated active solution set\/ view to the original View version by clicking the<strong> Revert view button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image66.png\" alt=\"\"> .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can \u2018split off\u2019 the active solution set\/ view and create a new model with the corresponding knowledge model with the <strong>Create new model button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image67.png\" alt=\"\"> . This take the module data used to create the active solution set\/ view and makes a new model that contains that data model and the current view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Using-the-standard-solution-explorer\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"using-the-standard-solution-explorer\"><\/span>Using the standard solution explorer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can view the solutions of the active solution set in the solution explorer The solutions are displayed as separate dots unless multiple dots are located at the same position in the explorer. Overlapping points in the explorer will have another circle around the dot. This overlapping in points does not mean that the actual values of the points are the same, zooming in on the point might reveal the differences. Clicking on a solution shows the values of the y- and x-axis in a small popup label next to the dot. It also updates the information in the output field items. You can change the axes by clicking the small down arrows in the dropdown lists and choosing the parameter you want to display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Right clicking in the<\/strong> <strong>solution explorer<\/strong> brings up a context menu with the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy to clipboard: saves to current view to your Windows clipboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customize axes: shows a popup windows where you can change the custom parameter ranges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reset view: resets the solution explorer view such that all solution dots are visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select min\/max value: Selecting the solution containing the highest or lowest value for the x-axis or y-axis parameter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include\/exclude selection: includes or excludes the selected solutions. Excluded solutions can be hidden with the <strong>Hide excluded solutions button <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image68.png\" alt=\"\"><\/strong> in the solution explorer toolbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep: exclude all the solutions except the one(s) selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include all: include all solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show details: with this toggle you can choose whether to show or hide the value popup labels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution explorer also has a toolbar with several buttons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Select cursor button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image6.png\" alt=\"\"> activates selection mode in which you can select solutions with the arrow cursor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Zoom in <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image69.png\" alt=\"\"> and Zoom out<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image70.png\" alt=\"\"> <strong>buttons<\/strong> activate the modes in which you can respectively zoom in and out by clicking in the solution explorer.You can also zoom by scrolling your mouse wheel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong> Zoom all button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image71.png\" alt=\"\"> sets the solution explorer view such that all solutions are visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Hide excluded solutions button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image68.png\" alt=\"\"> is a toggle to hide or show solutions that you may have excluded via the right click context menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Select min\/max value button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image72.png\" alt=\"\"> shows a dropdown list with the option to either select the solution containing the highest or lowest value for either the x-axis or y-axis parameter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Show grid view button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image73.png\" alt=\"\"> opens a new window with several solution explorer. Via the toolbar of this window you can change the number of solutions explorers shown, link the x-axis of the solution explorers, show\/hide excluded solutions, save the view to disk or show\/hide the value popups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With the <strong>Save view to disk button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image74.png\" alt=\"\"> you can save a screenshot of the current solution explorer view to a location on your computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With the <strong>Swap axes button <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image75.png\" alt=\"\"><\/strong> you can swap the parameters on the x- and y-axis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Using-the-solution-explorer-list\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"using-the-solution-explorer-list\"><\/span>Using the solution explorer list<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can view the solutions of the active solution set in the solution explorer list. The solutions and the parameter details of the selected parameters are displayed in a table style overview. Each row represents a solution and each column represents the (parameter) details of the solution. Clicking the header item of a columns sort the solutions using the column values in that column. Clicking on a solution row updates the information in the output field items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Viewing-solution-details\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"viewing-solution-details\"><\/span>Viewing solution details<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can view the details of a single selected solution in the solution explorer in the output field items on the canvas. The output field items show the values of the parameters of the selected solution behind the corresponding parameter in the output field. You can increase or decrease the number of decimal places of the shown values with the <strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image76.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> increase and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image77.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> decrease buttons<\/strong> in the main toolbar at the top of the canvas. The <strong>Engineering notation button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image78.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> gives you the option to change the notation format of the output from scientific to engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Exporting-data\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"exporting-data\"><\/span>Exporting data<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can export the data of a solution set to a CSV file on your computer by <strong>opening the specific solution set tab page<\/strong> in the and<strong> clicking the Export Solution Set button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image58.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> in the main toolbar or going to <strong>Results, Export Solution Set<\/strong> in the menu bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"PDF-export\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"pdf-export\"><\/span>PDF export<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can export a selected solution of a solution set to a PDF file on your computer by <strong>clicking the PDF export button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image79.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\"> in the main toolbar and selecting one of available pdf export templates if any are available. You can then select a save location and give the pdf export a custom name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF export function uses a Word document that contains tags as placeholders for parameter results as a document layout basis. You can make such a PDF template by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make a Word document and add tables, headers, footers etc. as desired.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place a unique letter combination or word between two angled brackets: &lt;&lt;&#8230;>>in the document on places which need to show a parameter result.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add numeric format specifications to the word tag by placing an \\# behind the tag word and the closing brackets followed by:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An <strong>E<\/strong> and <strong>S<\/strong> respectively for engineering or scientific notation:&lt;&lt;WordTagName\\#<strong>E<\/strong>>> or &lt;&lt;WordTagName\\#<strong>S<\/strong>>>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A number to specify the number of digits to use after the decimal separator, f.i. 3: &lt;&lt;WordTagName\\\\#E<strong>3<\/strong>>>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A vertical bar (|) at the end to specify whether to use a group separator for with large numbers: &lt;&lt;WordTagName\\#E<strong>|<\/strong>>> or &lt;&lt;WordTagName\\#E>>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the Word document and configure the export settings in Reves DSE.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-not-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-custom-color-2-border-color has-custom-color-3-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-44468703 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/note.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<p>Prevent the use of (nested) grouping boxes in the Word document for the layout, this is currently not supported. The export currently also does not support the Word formula fields and substitutes any floating borders, like horizontal line separators, with fully lined tables.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-not-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-custom-color-2-border-color has-custom-color-4-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-44468703 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/tip.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-156\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<p>You can also choose to export the solution to a Word file by selecting the file type in the save dialogue. You can use this when the build in export to PDF does not work properly with crucial (style\/layout) features in the Word file. You can then export the generated Word file to a PDF with Microsoft Office Word<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You can configure the settings of a PDF template by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to<strong> Input, PDF export settings\u2026<\/strong> in the menu bar while in the <strong>design space<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The PDF template editor window appears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Click<\/strong> any available templates in the Word Templates list on the left to show the settings for that template on the right of the editor window.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can add a new template by <strong>clicking<\/strong> the <strong>Add button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image50.png\" alt=\"\"> in the toolbar. A select Word file dialog window pops up where you can browse to the Word template file and open it to add it to the known available templates list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can remove a selected template by <strong>clicking<\/strong> the <strong>Delete button<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Image47.png\" alt=\"\"> in the toolbar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <em>Word Template Settings<\/em> section all the found Word tags in the Word template file are shown together with the linked model parameter and a format preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add a small description to a template in the <em>Word template description<\/em> text box above the listed Word tags.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can link a Word tag to a model parameter by <strong>selecting<\/strong> the word tag in the table overview and <strong>double clicking<\/strong> the desired <strong>model parameter symbol<\/strong> in the tree view on the right.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-not-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-custom-color-2-border-color has-custom-color-3-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-44468703 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/note.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<p>To use a specific PDF export template configuration the PDF template settings must be configured before the solutions (set) is generated.
